Leadership Change at MurphySchmidt Solicitors

MurphySchmidt's Tricia Schmidt celebrated 30 years since her admission as a solicitor in November 2014, closely followed by her 30^th anniversary with the firm and its predecessors in December. 

Although she has some way to go to catch up to Gerry Murphy’s time here, there can be no doubt that Tricia has already managed to squeeze many impressive achievements into a career marked by commitment, expertise, professional integrity and success.

A highly-regarded practitioner, Tricia has achieved outstanding results for her clients over the years.  

Tricia led the firm since it opened its doors in 1998 and has established and reinforced our reputation as a firm that does the job properly and with the highest professional standards. 

In December 2014, Tricia handed the role of Managing Partner over to Joanne Rennick. This decision gave Tricia the opportunity to do more of what brought her to the law in the first place; helping and guiding our clients through a process that can be life-changing for the individual and their family.

This marks the start of what we think will be an exciting new chapter for MurphySchmidt. Joanne brings to the role over 20 years experience as both an exceptional practitioner and a decisive, supportive and pragmatic leader. Holding the highest level of respect of all at MurphySchmidt, Jo will undoubtedly ensure our firm’s continued commitment to our clients.
