With over 38 years’ experience as a highly successful litigator and negotiator, Tricia enjoys a reputation for excellence and achieving exemplary outcomes for her clients in her chosen area of practice. 

Widely regarded by both her peers and her clients as leading-edge in her field, Tricia brings a unique blend of maturity and innovation to her approach in resolving complex claims.

The nature of Tricia's practice dictates that her clients are almost always in circumstances that are personally challenging and life changing, from a physical, emotional and financial perspective. With life experience as a mother of four adult children, and with seven siblings, Tricia has a heightened understanding of the many and varied issues her clients may face. Tricia's legal and commercial expertise, coupled with her practical approach and experience, ensures that her clients receive a fitting resolution with the best outcome possible for their future wellbeing. 

Tricia's reputation with her peers was recognised by her appointment as Chair of the Queensland Law Society Specialist Accreditation Board for six years, having served as a member for over eleven years.

Tricia has served as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Queensland Law Society Professional Conduct Committee, a body that assists in ensuring the maintenance of standards of excellence by members of the legal profession, and Chair of the Queensland Law Society Committee of Management, involving consideration of claims against the Legal Practitioners' Fidelity Guarantee Fund, which exists to provide compensation for defaults in the payment or delivery of trust monies (arising from dishonesty or fraudulent dealings) by law practices.

Tricia's currently serves as Chair of the Legal Practice Committee (existing under the Legal Profession Act 2007), which role involves hearing disciplinary applications commenced by the Legal Service Commission against Legal Practitioners, including determining associated sanctions pursuant to the Legal Profession Act 2007. She is also a legal practitioner member of the Legal Practice Tribunal.

With a keen interest in the governance of our education system and the successful training of students who aspire to enter the legal profession, Tricia served two terms on the Board of St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace and on the Board of St. Ignatius, Toowong. Tricia is also a guest lecturer at QUT.

Tricia has been a member of numerous Boards including the Paraplegic and Quadriplegic Association of Queensland, the Catholic Education Council, the Appeal Costs Board and as Member of the Board and of the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee of Cancer Council Queensland. She currently sits on the board of Lexon Insurance Pte Ltd as Non-Executive Director and chairs Lexon's Underwriting and Risk Committee. Tricia also sits on the board of Cancer Council Australia and CCA’s Finance, Risk and Audit Committee.
